JOCKEY FOCUS
Charles (Lucky) Maidment (1844-1926) was a very successful jockey who won the Jockey Championship in consecutive years in 1870 and 1871. He also rode two Epsom Derby winners, Cremorne (SR 2065) in 1872 and Kisber (SR 2061) in 1876.
